MA/DA: Approximation methods for aggregate interference mdlg

Hi,
at the Institute for Networked Systems (iNETS) we're offering a new thesis on approximation methods for modeling aggregate interference. The level of the work makes it best-suited for candidates pursuing a MSc. or diploma degree. Strong MATLAB skills are a prerequisite as well as a certain affection for mathematical modeling (in particular stochastics). The thesis is relevant in the industrial context of wireless network planning and the background one can gain from the statistics side may as well be useful for more theory-oriented students.
The position is open and can be filled immediately. For further questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Andreas
